我和 CC 都算喜歡看書的人, 睡覺前的閱讀時光通常是
再忙碌也會挪出來的安靜時刻, 自從買了 Kindle 之後,
CC 便從紙面的書變成電子書. 有一天晚上他看書 Kindle
看到一半, 忽然怨嘆了一口氣看著我說:


"People are islands, she said.

Vesper is a loner, 從來不讓人了解. 跟妳一樣!

這不是他第一次提到 Vesper , 更早一些的時候我們看了
Daniel Craig 演的 Casino Royale (我們覺得是 007 系列裡拍得最好
的一部), 他是飛到南美洲出差的時候看的, 當時就跟我說
女主角是我會喜歡的類型, 回來之後我們又一起看了video,
他邊看電影邊盯著我看, 說 Eva Green 皺著眉頭看 Daniel 的時候
跟妳真像. 也許這是其中一個原因, 看了 video 之後他在 Kindle
買了Casino Royale 的小說來讀.

書裡的這句話讓我映像深刻, 我想是不是我就是這種個性呢?
情人之間, 多近才算夠近, 多了解才算了解? 獨立的個性,
對於選擇, 目標的執著, 也許理性卻也過份頑固, 我的浪漫,
多變的個性連我都還在學習, 我想, 了解我不是必要的, 懂得
如何對待我才是重要的, 當我們在月光下的 Aegean Sea 畔,
承諾終身的時候, 我早已知道, 當一個人從來不覺得我的許多
主意怪異不現實的的時候, 我已找到 my soulmate.

這些年來, 因為愛, 我想你懂得的我, 也許比你想像的多得多 (笑).

The palate is a transcendent, full throttle mouthful of fruit, spice, honeysuckle, with fresh toasted biscuit yeasty goodness. There is a racy mid-palate juiciness on a mineral backbone. 她的弧度在某個角度來看甚至於像是畫框一樣框住窗

Last week for the first time, I kicked someone out from my team. It's an experience. For over a month or so, I've tried different ways to make him fit into the team and the plan. It's been a challenge project since beginning. He is always overconfident and has serious time management issues. I've helped him set up intermediate goals and dealt with obstacles hoping he could focus on his assignments. Still, not only he missed each and every timeline he also failed to report his lack of progress until the last day. It's a hassle to always need to cover what he didn't finish at the last minutes. All sorts of explanations he came up with seemed to be reasonable when heard the first time but none of them made any sense if you put everything together.

So I have to let him go. The conclusion is that you can never trust someone who is full of excuses. It usually indicates that the expectation is not going to be met, even you both tried.
