9th Street Espresso

Have been working 10-12 hours a day since back from the vacation.
I gradually realized that the left over old coffee beans (49th organic roasted
on 09/16) would only last me a few days. So, it's time for a new bag.

In my heart I always have a special place for 9th street espresso. Me and friends have
spent some pretty good time there when I was living closer to big apple.
I remember that sunny Sat afternoon, tall cups of latte got a few of us high
on caffeine and tried to persuaded each other about getting a travel mug.
Well at the end we've never got that travel mug but we'll always have good
memory about their coffee.

The flavor profile reminds me of the black cat that I had before. Although that
might not be a fair statement because as we know, BC is continuously evolving.
Well, in any rate, the espresso does smell like toasted almond a little bit and I think
it's quite nice for the autumn weather (autumn and almond always goes together don't
u think?). Since Chicago roaster Intelligentsia is 9th street espresso's direct supplier
so I actually got the bag 2nd day after it's roasted (10/20).

The flavor become smooth and full developed after a few days. Even w/o overdosing
it would still stand out with milk.
